Áú¹® If the hatch opens on the sloped or inner wall of the maxillary sinus

Q. If the hatch opens on the inclined or inner wall of the maxillary sinus, will the bone fragments become sharp and the membrane will not break?

A. The maxillary sinus membrane is also weak, but considering the surface lubrication of the wet membrane, it is possible to reduce the resistance to irritation. As the maxillary sinus bone becomes C.L.E., the first part of it looks sharp, but the bone fragment is almost paper- long and the fractured area is thinner, so it is not sharp or strong enough to damage the membrane. In fact, there is no risk of damaging the membrane because it does not have much strength to be thinly fractured and pushes the lubricated maxillary sinus membrane to the side by being wet with blood without applying force at right angles to the elevated membrane.
