Q. What if my maxillary sinus is pierced?
A. If the maxillary sinus has been drilled in or out of 2mm, it will be okay after about 4 weeks. If it is drilled, it is most likely an error in the radiation reading. Therefore, don't panic, measure the remaining bone accurately to the drilled hole, and after 4 weeks, drill the HATCH REAMER down to 1mm of the remaining bone measured, implant the bone, and then raise the cochlear with the hatch reamer.
