Áú¹® Does the extruded HATCH tear the membrane?

Q. Does the extruded hatch tear the membrane? (Can you hear a piece of bone from the inclined area and tear the membrane?)

A. HATCH REAMER do not form bone fragments in their thickness, but rather by thinning them up. The maxillary sinus membrane is raised by handpiece water pressure or simple pressure, so that some of these thin bone fragments do not tear at all. There is also a question of what happens when you turn 90 degrees. The maxillary sinus is already lifted and a part of the maxillary sinus is elevated, so the film does not tear when the bone is broken at 90 degrees. Don't worry, it's been verified in animal testing. The maxillary sinus itself is circular and three-dimensional, but the dense bone thins as the hatch reamer approaches the membrane, whether flat or curved. As the fracture starts from the thinning area, the dense bone is completely removed and the edge of the hatch reamer does not come into contact with the maxillary sinus membrane because the membrane is pushed up before contact with the membrane.
